Travel brings joy - whether it's from the smiles of novice monks in Myanmar, meeting the king of West Timor's unique Boti tribe or watching the sun rise from Mount Kelimutu on Flores Island, Indonesia. I've always been fascinated by the ethnic tribes of southeast Asia - the Torajans with their amazing funeral rituals in Sulawesil, the Tai Dam, Akha and Yao hill tribes in Laos, the None in West Timor, the Pa-O in Myanmar, the list is endless. Though I usually reach for my camera to capture how I feel about my travels, I've sometimes also put it into words. I hope you enjoy the website.
